Mark is a highly experienced senior partner, specialising in chancery and commercial matters for over 35 years.

Paul is Managing Partner with extensive court experience in commercial litigation and is regarded as a leading dispute resolution lawyer.

Robin is a Partner in the Litigation Department.

Robert regularly appears in the Royal Court and the Guernsey Court of Appeal.

With a sharp focus on commercial litigation, Quentin is Counsel and an admitted Guernsey Advocate within the firm’s Disputes Team known for delivering strategic legal solutions in high-value legal disputes.

As a Senior Associate at AFR Advocates, Paige delivers practical legal solutions that support her clients’ commercial goals.

Jonathan is an Associate in the Litigation Department and also serves as the firm’s Compliance Officer.

Eddie is an Associate in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, with more than twenty five years’ experience.

Brendan is an Associate in the Litigation and Property Departments. Brendan was called to the Bar in England and Wales in 2024 as a member of Middle Temple.

James joined AFR in 2022 and qualified as a barrister in England and Wales in 2024.

Samantha is a Paralegal with over 3 years of experience in the legal sector, currently specialising in Dispute Resolution.

Sebastian joined AFR Advocates as a part of the SQE training programme in September 2023.

Marcus joined AFR Advocates in 2023, as part of the SQE training programme.

Sophie joined AFR as a Trainee solicitor in June 2024 and is currently working towards the solicitor qualifying exams.

Eloise joined AFR as a Trainee Solicitor in June 2025 and is currently working towards her Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE).

Guernsey-born Nina studied at Ladies’ College and worked in estate agency before becoming a conveyancer in 2006.

With over 25 years of experience in compliance and risk management, Shyama Bungsraz joined AFR in February 2025 as Compliance Manager.

Susan Yabsley is secretary to Mark Ferbrache, Senior Partner. Susan has more than thirty years’ experience as a Legal Secretary.

Kerrie is Guernsey born and educated and is secretary to 2 of AFR’s partners, Robin Cowling and Paul Richardson.

Fiona is secretary to Robert Breckon, Partner and Quentin Bregg, Counsel for the Dispute Resolution Team and secretary to Paige Fine, Senior Associate for the Corporate & Commercial Team.

Jodene joined AFR as a Secretary in August 2025 having previously worked in the finance sector for 8 years gaining valuable experience.

Vanessa Bourgaize, FCCA, has 25 years of experience in Guernsey’s finance sector, including 19 as a qualified accountant.

Georgia brings over five years of experience in finance on Court Row, having built a strong foundation in account management and financial processes during this time.
